Board Director

Mary began her next career phase as Director on various boards in 2021.

Graduate, of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) course in 2022.

Since 2021, Member of Australian Institute of Company Directors; Australasian Institute of Clinical Governance; Women on Boards.

Her years of university, executive and research experience bring a new vision and approach to an expanding portfolio of Board Director positions in health, research and education sectors.

  • Non-Executive Director (2023-present)

    Established in 1986 to support otolaryngology, head and neck surgery (OHNS). Has committed >$28.5 million to fellowships and scholarships, >$34 million to high quality research grants and >$6.8 million to the establishment of clinical research Chairs. Supports strategic development of OHNS related products and technologies. Mary was recruited and appointed based on her unique skill set by trustees to oversee the awarding of all funding and develop new awards.

    Offers accredited, non-accredited courses and activities with a $2.2m revenue and 15 staff.

  • Australasian Birth Trauma Association Ltd, Board Member; Fundraising & Grants Committee; Volunteer (2022-2023). Australia’s first charity solely dedicated to supporting women, partners and families after birth-related trauma
